Wayne Rooney hails Romelu Lukaku as 'perfect' for Manchester United
The Belgian arrived at Old Trafford from Everton this summer and has made a quick impression.
He's notched three goals in Manchester United's opening three Premier League games following an impressive pre-season.
Rooney, the club's all-time top scorer, believes his old side have managed to sign the ideal player.
'For that United side, he is the perfect player,' he told talkSPORT .
'He is powerful, quick and strong and he scores goals, so certainly will improve that team.'
